What's the catch?
There is no catch. The most expensive
elements in estimating databases are part pricing and illustrations. With the Auto Body Estimator we have provided this information
by linking the software to oem and aftermarket parts dealers on the internet. Since there are no part pricing production costs
involved, we are able to pass the savings on to you. This process is very simple and cost effective and is done without leaving
the program.
2) What about labor and
paint times?
The ABF database is packed with labor
and paint times that are generic and consistent with industry flat rate times found in the most popular estimating systems
on the market today. The labor data and parts descriptions are located on your computer.
3) Are there any hidden costs?
No.
Your first year payment of $403 ($395 + $8 shipping) entitles you to unlimited use for one year. After the first
year, update and license fees are only $120.00 a year. If your business is located in California, sales tax must
be added to your purcase.

How often are updates made available?
Updates
are made available by download only on a quarterly basis (4 times a year). Updates are in the form of vehicle model coverage,
link coverage and software updates. They are free for the first year and $120.00 a year afterwards (for useage and updates).
5) Is training
included?
While there is no formal training
program availble, we do offer a training page on our website. Also there is plenty of user documentation to help you learn
the program. The documention can be found by pressing the "H" Key (Help) at the Main Menu. The Training Page on
our web site that has more user documention and a growing library of video training clips (on You-Tube).
6) Does this software run on Lynx or Mac operating systems?
No. It is only available for the Windows platform. Versions 7, XP and 2000.
7) How are part prices obtained?
Prices are obtaned by the program linking to internet parts websites where they
are the most current available.
8) Is this DOS program?
No. The Auto Body
Estimator is a full 32 bit program that requires a Windows Operating System ( Versions Windws 7, XP or 2000). The navigation
in this program is accomplished primarily by use of the keyboard and mouse.
